The header studs on some new Chinese engines, such as the Predator 212, have some production tolerances that will prevent the header from sliding over the exhaust studs. This is a common problem and we have seen up to 1/4" of variance in the stud location.
If this is the case with your new header, you can safely open up the holes on the mounting flange so the pipe slides over the studs.
We do our best in designing the parts to fit correctly out of the box, but we cannot be certain they will be a direct bolt on because of variances during manufacturing.
